BE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED WITH UNBELIEVERS. BIBLE GIVES US CLEAR GUIDELINES IN THIS MATTER!
It’s a really very sad thing today that many Christian boys and girls are involved in relationships with non believers and never take heed to what God’s Word says regarding marrying non believers.
They always refute saying, we will bring them in faith and the verse they always love to quote is from 1 Corinthians 7:14 – “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy”.
However, they forget what God says just one verse after it…1 Corinthians 7:16 – For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?
Dear brother and sister, Salvation is of the Lord. Jesus alone is the Savior and not you. Don’t ever get entangled with an unbeliever because of delay. Wait on the Lord and He will bless you with a believing partner.
Read this verse and take heed 2 Corinthians 6:14 – “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”
When you marry a non believer, you invite the powers of darkness in your life. You may be happy for a while, but will make a mess of your life and lose out on all the blessings and purposes God has for you.
Remember how Solomon’s heart went astray from the Lord even though he built the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem and all this because of his unbelieving women that turned his heart to idol worship and that led him to go astray from the Lord YHWH.
