Had an unexpected call from the best selling Author of the best selling book, “Death of A Guru” by Rabi Maharaj, originally from Trinidad and currently living in California. Chatted with him for nearly 2 hours. He visited me at Rosary Florist about 40 years ago. He said to me, he generally would have spoken 10 minutes…but the conversation went on from my Charismatic Renewal days of Bro Fritz Mascrenhas and Bro Sam Dharam to Gospel for Asia days and what a time to reflect for me….
From being a florist from selling flowers at Rosary shoppe to Sharing the Rose of Sharon to saving souls one day at a time! wow…what an incredible journey and walk of faith it has been for me and my Family and for birthing Gift of God Ministries Int’l.
Have completed 38 years of full time Ministry and thanking God today. Thankful to the Gideon’s Int’l that distributed the New Testament @ st Joseph’s boys school, Bangalore. It was the same pocket bible ( New Testament with Psalms & Proverbs) that was my daily bread, thanking the seeds of the Gospel first shared to me by Campus Crusade for Christ @ Christ College campus
In 1984 I turned overnight into being an Evangelist in the Ghettos of Dharavi, Asia’s largest slums…to becoming a successful Christian Journalist for 12 years and now called as a missionary-Revivalist to the Nations since 2001.
My conversation with Rabi Maharaj as to the messages he preached when I was a part of the EU Evangelical Union students Ministry at St. Andrews Church, and being first member @ the church Service of Pastor Paul Thangiah’s FGAG Church that has grown to be a mega church today.
After several years in Noth India as a missionary, lived a complete life of faith and served from villages to towns to cities with no salary or support.
Had also completed A DTS with YWAM Delhi-Gurgaon July 1991 batch that gave me a global focus on missions.
My first ministry support came in January 1992 on the second day of my 3 day fast when a medical doctor working for WHO in Delhi Revival church sponsored me for 8 months & later joined an organization named IET & then to Gospel for Asia 1995-June2002.
Thanks one and ALL especially IET, Gospel for Asia, Missions India where I worked as a Christian journalist and edited magazines.
After June 2000 I had resigned from my work as an editor and even rejected an offer from World Vision. I continued to wait upon the Lord. Then came the birth of Gift of God Ministries born since 2001 to date.
Thank you and all the different ministries have been a great learning experience for me. It’s been my stepping stone to where I am today, my latest project being “The All Nations House of Prayer- to pray locally and impact globally”
It was some times very difficult to climb and not easy but as I continue this faith walk and journey, to seek God as in Matthew 6:33 has been always my focus.
Thanks be unto God, my JESUS>>Hallelujah, that I have been restored, renewed, revived & re-fired to carry the torch of this glorious Gospel to the ends of the earth.
Thankful for my experiences with all those beloved leaders I have met on my life’s journey during the past 42 years.
Soon a prayer movement will be launched @ Bethel- House of Prayer from Sept 2022. It is the Father’s will for us that all dear saints pray in unity and may be conformed into HIS IMAGE, the fullness of YESHUA. That means to being perfected in Christ Jesus, the hope of glory!
In Heb12:1,2 says, Looking only unto JESUS, our Author and Finisher and not to put my/our trust in man.
I am humbled to see what the Lord has done for me. Having poured my life into missions and there is no turning back. Pray for GoGM, a global apostolic ministry to impact nations by corporate prayers Thank you LORD!!! TO DO MY BEST AND YOUR PERFECT WILL
